This position is contingent upon contract award.

Provide Commander, United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Subject Matter Experts (SME) in All-Source (AS) Analysis (SCA) to inform senior leaders, mission planners, intelligence analysts and deployed SOF personnel on the impact of socio-cultural and pattern analysis intelligence factors that influence decision making, engagements, and mission success. The SME shall perform strategic and operational multi-layered analysis and Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (IPE) providing a Special Operations Forces (SOF)-specific capability providing an understanding of the operations and methodology of Violent Extremist Organizations (VEO), Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO) and understanding of the Peoples of an Area of Interest (AOI).

Tasks include:

  • Support the Geospatial and SCA analysts in research and discovery to provide the common operational view

  • Direct all source analyst tasking and coordination efforts in support of the fused production process

  • Provide fused intelligence bridging geospatial and SCA analysis for strategic, operational and tactical level planning and operations

  • Conduct in-depth research using classified and unclassified data sources to locate and analyze available intelligence in support of PAS requirements

  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external POCs to ensure all aspects of a research effort are incorporated

  • Identify information gaps and develop source-directed requirements (SDR) or identify alternate sources to garner information


  • 5 years’ intelligence specialist experience

  • Graduate-level degree (MA/MS) in a national security or equivalent field

  • Eight years IC or DoD experience 5 years intelligence experience with analysis, reporting and briefing in a DoD setting

  • 1 year experience using ArcGIS

  • 5 years’ experience utilizing Intelligence Community databases and software

  • Requires TS/SCI clearance Requires TS/SCI clearance
