Role Summary:

In this role, the Ultrasound OR Sales Specialist is responsible for leading initiatives to meet quarterly & annual Orders & Revenue targets while developing customer relationships and awareness into a key growing Ultrasound market - the OR.

Essential Responsibilities:

Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities of Cardiovascular Ultrasound products in assigned territory.

Create awareness among Cardiac Anesthesiologists through the development of key customer relationships, programs and events.

Develop and execute business strategies to penetrate the OR market and successfully sell against competition.

Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.

Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive CV U/S sales.

Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio.

Annual and quarterly achievement of multiple sales and revenue targets.

Development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

Collaboration with Global and Commercial Marketing Teams to provide necessary customer feedback and segment needs and to provide critical segment input for inclusion to marketing blueprint


This position is open to candidate internal and external candidates. Candidate should live in the AZ, NM, CO, UT, & Las Vegas geography. Preferred residence = Phoenix or Las Vegas.

At least one of the following core experiences: 5+ years of successful consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation, Graduate of the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, 5+ years GEHC experience in customer facing, application specialist, or commercial operations roles

Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process

Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products

Willingness to travel at least 50% within your specified geographic region with regular overnight stays.

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor's degree

Clinical Ultrasound experience as a registered ultrasound sonographer

Cath Lab and/or EP Lab and/or CVOR experience

Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages

Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time

Previous experience managing business balance sheet financials including revenue, margins and costs

Previous Healthcare capital equipment sales experience, preferably highly transactional sales Knowledge of and experience with the OR market place

Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales offers

Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team

Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization

Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages

Cardiovascular Ultrasound clinical application and/or product knowledge
