Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the support process for user-access controls of financial IT systems, including (but not limited to) PeopleSoft, Trax, TAP, Concur and others as required

  • Identify business requirements and process designs and communicate with IT, outsourced vendors and relevant business groups

  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements; develop, document and maintain system policies and procedures

  • Identify system issues and work with IT (and vendors) in strategizing solutions

  • Assist with system upgrades and implementations; perform system end-user testing and acceptance

  • Prepare and provide adhoc analysis and reports as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • General understanding of accounting principles and processes

  • 3 years of work experience in accounting or related areas

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including process documentation (i.e., flowcharts).

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Visio

  • Must have the ability to fully grasp and understand financial accounting issues, processes, procedures and controls

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airline experience

  • Experience with SOX requirements and best practices

  • Knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft or equivalent ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc.) system and reporting tools

  • Systems implementation and data conversion experience

  • Experience as a Functional Business Analyst
